ATTENDANCE: A sinking feeling that the tour was in trouble was only reinforced by the poor turnout last night at the Tacoma Dome, where concertgoers barely filled half the arena. TV reporters waiting to talk to fans stood on empty sidewalks outside the Dome. An outdoor radio tent that normally mobbed with fans before a show like this had only a dozen visitors when doors opened at about 6:45 p.m. A small queue of concertgoers stood in a light drizzle, waiting to get inside.
